Dear Current Members:

 

Thank you for making the GLDA such a success in 2007. We are anxious to get started on the upcoming 2008 events. Please send the enclosed membership application along with your annual fee of $25.00 due by Friday, February 29, 2008. The cost for membership after March 1, 2008 will be $35.00 to everyone except those new to the industry.

All GLDA members in good standing and their families will be eligible to apply for scholarships awarded by the GLDA in June 2008. Also, members will receive reservation emailing and discounted fees for all events. In 2007 we awarded $15,000 in scholarships!

Enclosed you will find the list of 2008 GLDA Members and Directors with their responsibilities and a tentative 2008 GLDA events schedule. If you have any questions regarding the GLDA or upcoming events, please feel free to contact any board member.

We would appreciate your input on new events as well as speakers you would like to hear. This association exists for the benefit of you, the members, and we need your ideas and help to be successful. Again, we would like to hear from you, so please contact any board member with ideas you may have.

As new distribution personnel continue to join our industry we would like for them to be a part of our organization.

I look forward to welcoming all of you at the events during 2008.  We are working on the Q1 meeting, which is being planned for February.  Our 20th Annual Golf Tournament has been set for April 13-14, 2008.  More detailed information is available on the website. Please be sure to mark your calendars for upcoming events.
